This shop is on the first floor of The New Tone Building over in Kilpauk. If you know where Kilpauk Garden Road is, we are right there near the Aspiran Garden Colony side. It is actually below the INIFD place. Being on the first floor means people have to walk up, but it stays a bit quieter away from the street noise. Chennai heat can be a lot, so we keep the place as cool as we can for anyone coming in. We handle both men and women here since it is a unisex setup. Most of our days are spent fixing hair and helping people look a bit neater before they head back out into the traffic. The building is easy to spot once you get onto the main road. We don't do much fancy talking or big speeches about what we do. We just get to work when a customer sits down. Sometimes the music is playing and sometimes it is just the sound of the scissors. We have been in this Kilpauk spot for some time now and we know the regulars who live around the garden colony. It is a decent space with enough room for everyone to move around. We are not some big office, just a bunch of people who know how to cut hair and run a beauty counter. The neighborhood is nice and we like being part of the daily life on this road. It is just a normal shop with real people working inside every day.
