Jawed Habib Hair & Beauty Salons is situated at No 24 G 10 in the Wellington Estate building. This is on Ethiraj Salai in Egmore, Chennai. We are right across from Ethiraj College. It’s a very well-known spot because of the college and the Radisson Hotel which is also nearby. The salon is on the ground floor, so it's easy to walk into from the main entrance of the estate. We have been operating here for some years. It’s a decent sized space with plenty of chairs for hair work. We see a lot of students coming in because the college is just a few steps away. They usually want something quick between their classes. Then there are the people who work in the offices around Egmore. It can get quite busy during the lunch hour and in the evenings. The traffic on Ethiraj Salai is always moving, and sometimes finding a place to park a car is a bit of a headache, but people manage. Inside, it’s just a regular salon setup. We have the usual equipment and products sitting on the shelves. It’s not overly decorated or anything. We just focus on getting the work done. The staff has been around for a while and they know how things work. We keep a simple register for the daily customers. It’s just a local shop in a busy part of the city.
