Our little office is tucked away on Annai Sivagami Street. J L L Real Estate has been operating from here for a while now. It is mostly just us sitting around talking to people about houses and land. We have a lot of keys hanging on the wall and a bunch of folders stacked on the tables. People usually walk in because they saw a sign somewhere or heard about us from a neighbor. We do not do much advertising; we just know the area really well. The street outside is usually quiet, which is nice when we are trying to go over a contract with someone. Sometimes we spend the whole day out showing properties and the office stays locked. It is a simple life of helping people find a place to live or a bit of land to buy. We have a couple of old chairs for visitors and a ceiling fan that makes a bit of noise. It’s not a big corporate setup, just a local spot where we know most of the people who walk by. We try to be honest about what a place is worth and what the problems might be. Dealing with property can be stressful, so we just try to keep things calm and straightforward.
