Hi Look Mens Salon

Our shop is on Hunter Road in Choolai. Most people know the area because of Hot Chips, which is right near us at number 10. We've been cutting hair here at Hi Look Mens Salon for some time now. Chennai gets really hot, so we make sure the shop is a cool place to sit for a while. It’s a men’s salon, so it’s pretty basic. We do haircuts, beard trims, and sometimes a head massage if someone asks for it. The street outside is always busy with bikes and people walking to the nearby shops. We see a lot of students and office guys coming through. It’s not a fancy place with expensive furniture, but we keep it tidy and the mirrors clean. My brother and I run the place mostly. We don't use any big words to describe what we do. It’s just cutting hair. We listen to what the customer says and try to do that. Sometimes the power goes out, but we have a backup so the clippers keep working. If you're looking for a quick trim while you're out in Choolai, we're right there. We don't take appointments usually; people just walk in and wait their turn. It’s a good way to hear the local news. We like being part of the neighborhood here on Hunter Road. It’s been home for us for a long time and we know the faces.
