Haewins Beauty Parlour

We are over in Park Town on Seven Wells Street. The shop is at number 10/96. Right near us is the Sri Ab Parekh Gujarati Vidya Mandir school. You can always hear the kids shouting during their lunch breaks and when the school lets out in the afternoon. It makes the street very busy and lively at those times. Haewins Beauty Parlour is a small place where we spend most of our daylight hours. We have some chairs and a few mirrors that we try our best to keep clean. It is not always easy with the dust from the road and the constant traffic. People come in from the surrounding houses and sometimes the teachers from the school drop by for a bit after their work is done. We do not have a big glowing sign or anything flashy to show off. Usually, people find us by word of mouth or just because they pass by every day on their way to the train station or the market. We keep a small pile of old magazines for people to read while they wait, though most just look at their phones now. It gets really hot in the summer months, so we keep the ceiling fans on full speed all day. We have known some of our customers since they were small children. Now they are grown and bring their own kids here. It feels like a small family in a way.
