Green Paddy Design Labs Private Limited

Our place is at number 100 in Indira Priyadharsini Nagar. It is along that road that leads right to the Global Hospital in Perumbakkam. Being in this part of Chennai means it is a bit quieter than the city center, which is nice when we are trying to focus on our design work. We call ourselves a lab, but really it is just an office with some decent computers and a few drawing tablets. We spend a lot of time looking at screens and trying to figure things out. Some of us have been working together since we first started this. We do a mix of things, really whatever design projects come through the door. It might be something for a local shop or sometimes a bigger project from across town. We don’t have a uniform or any fancy dress code. Most days it is just jeans and t-shirts around here. The office has some plants, though we forget to water them more often than we should. The address is easy to find because everyone knows the hospital road. We have a small pantry where we make snacks and coffee. Usually, the talk is about the latest projects or just what is happening in the neighborhood. We aren't trying to be the biggest firm in Chennai. We just want to do work that makes sense for the people who ask for it. It is just a normal day-to-day operation.
