Nivegrafix

Our office is at No. 37/17 on Pillayar Kovil Street in Triplicane. If you know Triplicane, you know how tight the streets are. It’s a very old part of the city with a lot of history. We are close to the temple, so we often hear the bells and the sounds of people walking by. Nivegrafix is located in a small building that we have been using for years. We have our computers set up on long tables, and there is usually a lot of paper and sample prints lying around. The walls have some old posters we designed a long time ago. We do a lot of graphic work and printing. The machines can be quite loud when they are running at full speed. Sometimes we have to shout a bit to be heard over the printers. We get a lot of local students and business owners coming in because of the location. There is no air conditioning in the front area, so we keep the windows open, which lets in the street noise and the smell of local food. It’s a very busy atmosphere. We often stay late to finish up projects when the deadlines are close. There is no corporate lobby or receptionist. You just walk in and talk to whoever is free. We enjoy the chaos of Pillayar Kovil Street. It keeps us busy and connected to the people living and working nearby.
