Girls Orchestra

We've been at No 73 & 74 Tsn Complex on Arcot Road for a while now. It's a busy spot right near Ram Theatre here in Kodambakkam. People know the building well. We are the Girls Orchestra. Most days we are just busy with the music and getting things ready for whatever is coming up next. It’s not a fancy office or anything, just a place where we get the work done. The traffic on Arcot Road can be a bit much sometimes but being near the theatre makes it easy for people to find us. We spend a lot of time practicing and sorting out the instruments. It’s mostly just us doing our thing every day. Sometimes it gets a bit loud, but that is just how it is with an orchestra. We don't really do the whole big corporate thing. We just show up, do the music, and head home. If you are walking past Ram Theatre, you’ve probably seen our sign at the Tsn Complex. It’s a local place. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years. We like being in Kodambakkam because everything is close by. There is always something happening on this street. We just keep to ourselves and focus on the rehearsals. It’s a simple setup we have here. Nothing too complicated, just a group of us working out of these two units. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the sheet music gets everywhere. It’s just how we work.
