Friends Unisex Parlour

Friends Unisex Parlour is on Barakka Main Road at number 2/48. We are in the Secretariat Colony of Kilpauk, near Kellys in Chennai. A good way to find us is to look for the Deepam Eye Hospital because we are right opposite it. Being a unisex parlour means we get all kinds of customers, from young kids to elderly people. We do hair cutting, coloring, and basic skin treatments. The shop isn't fancy or polished. We have some basic furniture and the usual equipment you’d find in any neighborhood parlour. Chennai can be very hot and dusty, so people often come in for a hair wash or a quick face clean. We have been here for quite a while and have become a regular part of the street. Our staff members are just normal people who have learned the trade. We don't use big words or try to sell you things you don't need. If you want a haircut, that’s what we give you. The waiting area is small, so sometimes people have to stand outside for a bit. We try to work fast but we don't rush the actual cutting. It’s a practical place for the local community. We don't have a mission statement, we just open the doors every morning and do our jobs until we close at night. We just try to keep things simple and honest for everyone.
