Evoke Media

Evoke Media is based over at No 9, Damodaran Street. We are right across from the Nagappa Motors in Kilpauk. It is a pretty easy landmark to find if you are driving through this part of the city. The street itself is not very wide, but it is usually got cars and bikes lined up all along the sides. Our office at No 9 is just a standard, plain building. It is nothing that really stands out if you are just passing by. Inside, it is mostly just the staff working at their desks. We have been in the Kilpauk area for a while now and we really like the feel of the neighborhood. It has got a good mix of old houses and small local businesses. The Nagappa Motors across the way is always busy with customers, so there is a lot of movement outside our windows during the day. Sometimes the sunlight hits the front of our building just right in the late afternoon, which makes it a bit warm inside, but we keep the fans going. It is a very practical and functional space for us. We do not spend much time worrying about the decorations or making things look perfect for people visiting. We are much more focused on the work we have going on. The walls have a few things pinned up, like old calendars and some notes. It is a quiet enough street most of the time. We just show up every morning, unlock the door at No 9, and get to it.
