Event One

Event One is located over at No S2 in the Sridevi Apartments. That is at No 3 on Lakshmikanthan Street in T Nagar. If you know where Krishna Sweets is, we are pretty close to that landmark. Being in an apartment building means it feels more like a home than a stiff office. We have a few rooms set up with our stuff. The stairs can be a bit steep if you are carrying boxes, which we often are. T Nagar is always crowded, so getting to the office sometimes takes longer than you’d think. We spend a lot of time just coordinating things from our desks. The light in the afternoon hits the balcony just right, though it gets quite hot in the summer months. We usually have a fan going all day to keep things moving. It’s a simple setup on Lakshmikanthan Street. We don't have a big reception area or fancy coffee machines. We just make our own tea in the little kitchen corner. Sometimes the neighbors from the other apartments pop in to say hello or ask what we are working on. It’s that kind of place. We keep our schedules on a big white board that is starting to get stained. It’s not a perfect system, but it works for us. Living and working in this part of town means you get used to the constant buzz of people and traffic outside the apartment gates.
