Event Express

We are over at No.52, Evk Sampath Road in Vepery. If you know where the Daily Thanthi office is, we are just a short walk from there. Vepery is a busy neighborhood with a lot of old buildings and narrow streets. We have been working out of this location for a while. The office is usually full of stuff—papers, samples, and whatever else we need for the next project. We call ourselves Event Express because we try to get things moving quickly. It isn't always easy with the way things go in the city, but we do our best. We are just a group of friends and colleagues who figured out we were good at putting things together. We don't have a big mission statement or anything. We just take the orders and try to make sure everything looks right on the day. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish up, and we usually end up ordering some food from the shop across the street. It is a bit chaotic sometimes, but that is the nature of the work. Most of the people we work for are just local families or small businesses. We like the variety of the jobs we get. Every day is a little bit different, which keeps it interesting for us. Being near the newspaper office means we always know what is going on. Vepery is a good place for us, and we have gotten to know the layout of these streets pretty well.
