Evam Entertainment

We are over at No 50 on 2nd Street in Karpagam Avenue. It is right off Chamiers Road in the Mandaiveli area. It’s a pretty good location for us because it’s easy to get to from different parts of the city. We do a lot of stuff related to entertainment and events. The office is often a bit messy with posters and scripts lying around. We have a small team of people who are into theater and performing arts. It isn't a typical corporate environment at all. People are often coming in and out at odd hours. Mandaiveli has a certain vibe to it that we really enjoy. We’ve been in this specific spot for a good bit of time now. Sometimes we have rehearsals here, and other times it’s just us sitting around laptops trying to figure out the logistics for a show. We don't have a big mission statement written on the wall. We just like what we do and we try to keep doing it. Chamiers Road is always busy, so we hear the traffic outside, but Karpagam Avenue itself is a bit more tucked away. It’s a nice mix. We have a lot of books and old programs stacked up on the shelves. It feels like a lived-in space. Most of our neighbors are used to us by now. We just try to be a useful part of the local community.
