The office is in a regular building, and it stays quite busy with the phone ringing and people coming in to talk about their news. It is not one of those glass-walled offices you see in movies. We have old desks, some filing cabinets that stick when you try to open them, and plenty of newspapers piled up in the corners. We spend our time writing stuff for local papers and trying to get people to pay attention to different stories. It is mostly about knowing who to call and having a bit of patience when things don't go as planned. The humidity in Pudupet can be tough, so the old air conditioner stays on most of the day, making a humming sound that we have all gotten used to. We don't have a receptionist in a suit; usually, you just walk in and one of us will look up from a computer. It is a practical setup for the kind of work we do, right in the middle of a very lively part of the city. We have been in this spot for a while now.
