We are located at number 131 on Mpm Street in Perambur. It's a busy street in Chennai, and we are right near the Reliance Fresh, so a lot of people stop by after doing their grocery shopping. The shop has a clean look, but we aren't trying to be too fancy. We have the big chairs and the long mirrors that you expect in a hair place. Chennai can be very humid, so we keep the place as cool as possible for whoever is sitting in the chair. Most of the time, the floor is covered in hair because we stay busy throughout the day. I make sure to sweep it up whenever there is a break. We do all the regular stuff like cutting and styling. Some of the staff have been here a long time and they know exactly how the regulars like their hair done. It’s a lot of work keeping everything organized, especially the scissors and the different combs we use. The street outside is always full of bikes and cars, especially in the evenings. We can hear the noise of the city, but inside we just focus on the job. It’s a straightforward shop. We don’t have any grand speeches about what we do; we just show up and get to work. People seem to appreciate that we are just a reliable spot in the neighborhood where they can get their hair fixed.
