Elangovan Spice And Cashews Llp is based in West Tambaram. Our shop is at No. 3 Govindarajan 1st Cross Street. We handle two main things here, which are spices and cashews. It is a small place and it gets very crowded when a new shipment arrives. You can smell the spices from the end of the street. We spend a lot of our time sitting on the floor sorting through the nuts and bagging the spices. It is a lot of manual work and our hands usually stay stained from the turmeric or the dust. The street we are on is quite narrow and it is always a struggle when a delivery truck tries to come through. We often have to help unload the sacks ourselves to speed things up. It is not a fancy corporate setup. We do not have a website or a sales team. We just deal with the local customers and some small shops in the Kancheepuram area. Most of us have been working here together for years, so we know how things go. Sometimes the monsoon rains make the place a bit damp and we have to move everything around to keep it dry. It is just a normal day of work for us. We do not try to be anything special. We just sell what we have and keep the shop open. It keeps us busy all year.
