Down here on Sms Street in Purasawalkam, we started Djs Spin Doctor Disc Jockey. It’s a bit of a tucked-away spot, but it’s home for us. Being near the Mahalakshmi Cinema Hall makes it easy to find, which is lucky because this part of Chennai gets pretty crowded. We spend most of our time dealing with music and gear. It's not a shiny corporate office, just a workspace where we get things ready for whatever event is coming up next. Sometimes the wires are everywhere and it looks a bit messy, but we know where everything is. People in Purasawalkam know us as the local guys who handle the sound. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements. Most people just walk in or hear about us from a neighbor. It’s just how we do things. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years, but our little spot at No 4 stays the same. The street is narrow and you have to watch out for the bikes, but that's just Purasawalkam for you. We just show up, do the job, and head home. There isn't much more to it than that. If you need to find us, just head toward the cinema hall and ask around. Someone will point you to Sms Street. We are usually there working on something.
