Devi Beauty Salon & Body Works

We’ve been at No:77 on Perambur Barracks Road for a while now. If you know where the Doveton Fly Over is, we are just right there. It’s a busy part of Chennai, but we’ve managed to keep our spot here at Devi Beauty Salon & Body Works. People usually find us when they are heading past the flyover or coming from the main road. The shop isn't anything fancy, just a regular place where we do our work every day. It gets noisy outside with the traffic, but inside we just focus on what the customers need. Sometimes the chairs are full and other times it's quiet. We've seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years. Most of the folks who come in are from around here or work nearby. We don't really do big ads or anything like that. People just walk in because they know the address. It’s just us doing hair and body work day in and day out. It’s a simple setup. If you’re walking down Perambur Barracks Road, you’ll see our sign. We try to keep things organized but it’s a working shop, so there’s always something going on. Being near the flyover helps people explain where we are located. We open up in the morning and stay until the evening rush is over. It’s just how we run things here at Devi. It has been our home for a long time now.
