We are D S K Polymer and you can find us at 12/6, Bharathiyar Street in Ekkathuthangal. This part of town is full of small workshops and factories, so there is always something going on. Our unit on Bharathiyar Street is just a small part of that industrial landscape. We spend our days working with polymers. It is a lot of hard, repetitive work, but it keeps the business going. The street outside is quite narrow, so it is always a challenge when we have to load or unload goods from the trucks. We have a small crew here, and most of us have been together for years. We don't have a showroom for people to visit. Usually, our customers are other businesses who know what we do. The inside of our place is mostly taken up by machines and bags of raw materials. It is never quiet here because of the constant hum of the equipment. During our breaks, we usually sit around and talk about the neighborhood or whatever is in the news. It is a very basic way of working. We don't have managers in suits or anything like that. If a machine stops working, we are the ones who have to get it running again. The address 12/6 is easy enough to find if you are walking down the street. We just focus on the task at hand and try to get everything finished on time. The smell of the polymers can be strong when it is hot outside, but we don't notice it much anymore. It's just part of the job.
