Chillbreeze Unisex Salon & Spa

Spencer Plaza is a huge place and it’s easy to get lost in here, but we are tucked away on the first floor of Phase II. Most people find us by looking for the Westside showroom across the way. It’s a busy part of Mount Road, so there’s always people coming in and out. We’ve been running Chillbreeze as a spot where you can escape the noise of the city for an hour or so. Being in an old mall like this has its own charm, I think. We handle men’s and women’s hair, and we have the spa section in the back if you need to relax. It’s not one of those high-pressure places where they try to sell you a million products. We just do the work. The shop has plenty of mirrors and the lighting is decent for seeing what’s going on with your hair. We see a lot of office folks from Anna Salai coming in during their lunch breaks or after work to tidy up. It’s a convenient spot if you’re already doing some shopping or waiting for a bus. We try to keep the place tidy, though with the mall dust it’s a constant job. You can just drop in; we usually have someone free to help out. It’s just us doing what we know how to do, day in and day out. Nothing too fancy, just a reliable place in a familiar building for anyone passing through the city center.
