Our office is on the first floor of No 57 on Sterling Road. It’s a pretty busy spot, right across from Loyola College, so there are always students walking by and a lot of noise from the bikes. Nungambakkam is always moving, and we are right in the middle of it. The stairs up to our place are a bit narrow, so carrying gear up and down can be a bit of a struggle sometimes. We’ve been at this location for a bit, and honestly, the best part is probably the food stalls nearby. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, a few old chairs, and piles of papers that we promise to sort through every Monday but never quite finish. We handle a lot of different things here at Cheers Entertainment, mostly just making sure everything runs okay for the folks who hire us. It’s not always easy, especially when the traffic gets bad and we are trying to get somewhere on time. We spend a lot of time on the phone or just staring at schedules on the wall. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit there talking until it comes back. It feels like a real place, not some sterile corporate building. We know the neighbors, the guy who sells snacks downstairs, and the security folks at the college. It’s just how we work, simple and straightforward, without any big fuss about it.
