Chandra Trader

Chandra Trader is located at No: 64 on Rasappa Chetty Street in the Park Town area. If you know this part of the city, you know how busy it gets with all the shops and people moving around. Our place is right in the thick of it. Most of our time is spent handling different goods and making sure orders are ready for whoever needs them. The street outside is almost always loud with carts and bikes going past at all hours. Inside the shop, it’s a bit quieter but we stay busy with the paperwork and the stock. We have been at number 64 for a good number of years now. The walls are lined with boxes and we know exactly what is in each one. Because it isn't a large space, we have to stay organized to make sure everything fits. Dealing with traders and customers all day keeps us on our feet. We don't use any fancy systems, just a lot of lists and our own memory. People come to Park Town because they know they can find what they need here. We are just one of the many businesses trying to get things done every day. It is a lot of hard work and long hours, but we are used to it. We close up once the street starts to quiet down in the evening. It is a repetitive job but it keeps the lights on and the families fed.
