Amson & Company

Our office is at 105 Nungambakkam High Road. Some of the older records still show it as number 64, but it’s the same building. We’ve been here for a long time, watching the road outside change as more buildings went up. Amson & Company is a small setup. We have a few desks, some old filing cabinets that squeak, and a lot of paper everywhere. Nungambakkam is a prime area, but our office feels like a quiet little bubble once you step inside. We don't do much in the way of decoration. There are a few calendars on the walls and maybe a dusty plant in the corner. We handle trade and agency work, which involves a lot of phone calls and ledger entries. The ceiling fan wobbles a bit when it’s on the highest setting, but we’re used to it. We aren't interested in being the biggest company around. We just want to do our daily tasks and go home to our families. Most of our clients are people we’ve known for decades. We don't even have a proper sign outside sometimes, just the name on the directory in the lobby. It’s a modest way to earn a living. If you come by, you’ll probably find us sitting at our desks, maybe complaining about the heat or the morning traffic on the High Road. We take things as they come and try not to worry too much about the small stuff.
