You can find Celebrations at No 2, South Boag Road. It's a busy street in T Nagar, right across from the Residency Tower. Being in T Nagar means there is always something happening outside our door. The traffic can be a nightmare during rush hour, but that’s just part of living in this city. We deal with all sorts of things related to parties and functions. It gets messy sometimes with all the samples and decorations lying around. Our place isn't a polished showroom. It’s more like a workspace where we get things ready. Some days are slow and we just sit around chatting, but other days it’s non-stop. We’ve been here long enough that most of the local shopkeepers know us. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just like what we do and try to make sure everything is ready on time. Planning an event takes a lot of patience. Sometimes things go wrong, like a delivery being late or the weather changing, and we have to scramble to fix it. That’s just life in this business. We use a lot of tape and scissors. My hands usually have a bit of glue or ink on them by the end of the day. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy. If you drop by, don't mind the clutter on the tables. We usually have boxes stacked in the corner and fabric samples everywhere. It's how we work. We just keep moving.
