Candid Marketing Services is over here in H-Block, Anna Nagar. It’s a decent spot, right near Hotchips which is handy when we need a quick snack or a tea break. We’ve been at No 848 for a while. Marketing is a funny business because things change so fast. One day it’s one thing and the next day it’s something else entirely. We spend a lot of time on our computers and talking to people on the phone. Sometimes the office feels a bit small when everyone is talking at once, but we get through the work. It’s not always glamorous. There’s a lot of data and looking at screens until our eyes get tired. We try to keep things straightforward. No one here wears a tie or anything like that. We just wear what’s comfortable and focus on the tasks for the day. Anna Nagar is always busy, so there’s always noise from the street, but you get used to it after a week or two. We have a few desks, some old filing cabinets that probably need replacing, and a lot of notebooks. We don't have a big fancy reception area. If you come by, you’ll probably just see us working. We just do our thing and try to help businesses get noticed without overcomplicating everything. It’s a simple setup but it works for us. We've stayed in this neighborhood because it's central and easy for people to find. We aren't a big agency, just some folks who know how to sell things. It works.
