Brightly Beauty Parlour

Brightly Beauty Parlour sits at number 29 on Ekanthipuram 1st Street in Ayanavaram. It is very close to the Raghavendra Temple, so we get a lot of people stopping in before or after they visit there. The shop is small and usually smells like hair oil and talcum powder. We do a lot of threading and basic hair trims for women in the area. It is a neighborhood spot where everyone knows each other. We have a couple of chairs and a small area for washing hair. The walls have some old posters on them and we keep our supplies on simple shelves. It’s not a corporate chain, just a local business run by people who live nearby. On festival days or during wedding seasons, the place gets really packed and we have to use stools for people to sit on while they wait. We do simple things like applying henna or doing braids. Sometimes the water pressure is a bit low, but we manage. It is a comfortable place where ladies can talk while getting their eyebrows done. We don't use any fancy gadgets, just our hands and the usual tools. It’s been in this street for a while and we plan to stay here. If you’re walking past the temple, you can’t miss us. It is just a humble parlor for the local community to get their grooming done. We keep the door open to let the breeze in when it’s not too dusty outside.
