It feels like a traditional mission clinic from back in the day. The street outside is usually pretty busy with people going to the temple or the market nearby. You can even hear the temple bells ringing sometimes if the wind is blowing the right way. Inside, we just focus on the patients who come through the door each morning looking for help. It’s a simple setup. We keep the records in big metal cabinets and still use a lot of handwritten notes for our daily logs and files. The lighting isn't the brightest in the world, but it does the job for us. We’ve been here for a long time, so we’ve seen generations of families grow up on these streets. It’s not a corporate office; it’s more like a community house that happens to do medical work. There’s a small garden area in the back that's mostly just green grass, but it’s a peaceful corner. We just take each day as it comes.
