B. L. T. Stores

B. L. T. Stores is situated at New No. 81 on N.S.C. Bose Road. Some of the older folks in the area still call it by the old number, which was 39, but we’ve updated the sign to help people find us. N.S.C. Bose Road is a very famous and busy stretch, so there is never a dull moment outside our door. Our store has been around for a long time, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the decades. The shop itself is filled with wooden shelves and old counters that have a lot of character. We sell various household items and things that people need for their daily lives. It’s a bit dark inside because the building is deep, but we like the cool atmosphere it provides during the hot months. We don't have a website or any fancy digital systems. We still do a lot of things the old-fashioned way with pen and paper. It’s a small team here, and we know many of our customers by their first names. They come in not just to buy things, but sometimes just to have a quick chat about the weather or the news. We don't see any reason to change how we operate. It’s a comfortable, local business that fits right into the history of Bose Road. We plan to stay here for as long as we can.
