B K Insuvai

B K Insuvai is on Vivekanandhar Street in MGR Nagar, right near K K Nagar. It is a small setup, nothing too grand or complicated. We chose the name Insuvai because it sounds right for what we do. We mostly focus on local residents who need help with food for small gatherings or just their daily meals when they are too busy to cook. The street can get a bit crowded with two-wheelers, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We spend a lot of time sourcing the right ingredients from the local market nearby. We don't buy the cheapest stuff available, but we aren't buying the most expensive imported things either. It is just good, honest ingredients that work well together. Our kitchen isn't very large, so we have to be very organized to get everything done on time. There are days when we are exhausted and our backs ache from the lifting, but then a customer tells us the food tasted just like home, and that helps us keep going. We don't do much advertising. Most of our work comes from people who saw our containers at a neighbor’s house. We keep things simple and don't try to make dishes that we don't know how to cook properly. It is just straightforward cooking for the neighborhood. We are usually there from early morning until the last cleaning is done at night.
