Down in Ambattur, we’ve got our spot at G 18, 14th Avenue, in Banu Nagar. Ayur Andamanese Organics Llp is situated in a part of Chennai that has a bit of everything, from houses to small factories. Our place is pretty modest. We focus on organic stuff, so there is usually a lot of natural-smelling things around the office. The 14th Avenue is a fairly quiet street most of the time, which is nice for concentrating on what we’re doing. We don’t have a big corporate structure here. It’s more about a few people working together to manage the day-to-day tasks. The G 18 unit is where we keep all our records and some of our product samples. It’s not exactly a showroom, just a functional space where we can be productive. We spend quite a bit of time talking to suppliers and making sure we’re getting the right organic materials. Sometimes the logistics of it all can be a bit of a headache, but we just take it one step at a time. Banu Nagar is a good place to be based because it feels like a real neighborhood. We like the fact that we can just walk down the street and grab a snack or talk to the locals. It’s a very grounded way to run a business, and we wouldn't want it any other way. It’s just us doing our thing in Ambattur.
