Atlas Trade & Exhibitions

We have been sitting at Old No 207 New No 188 on Pycrofts Road for a while now. Most people know the spot because it is right opposite Amir Mahal in Royapettah. It gets quite busy around here, especially with the traffic coming through Chennai. Atlas Trade & Exhibitions is basically just us working out of this office. We handle trade stuff and exhibitions. It is not always glamorous, mostly just paperwork and making sure things get where they need to go. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet acts up, but we manage. People walk in asking for directions a lot because of the landmark. The Royapettah area has changed since we started, but our building stays the same. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anything like that. It is just a workspace with some desks and files everywhere. Usually, there are three or four of us here at any time. We drink a lot of tea from the shop down the street. It’s a bit noisy with the bikes outside. If you are looking for us, look for the old signage. We have stayed in this part of town because it’s central. Most of our work is behind the scenes. We don’t really do big advertisements. Most people hear about us from someone else. It's just a regular day-to-day operation here. We keep busy with whatever comes across the desk. That is pretty much who we are and where we spend our time.
