Asha Hair Style is located at No 106 on B B Road in Vyasarpadi. It’s a straightforward shop in a busy part of Chennai. B B Road is always full of movement, with people going to work and kids heading to school. Our shop isn't tucked away; it’s right there on the main stretch. Inside, it’s just a basic hair cutting place. We have the big mirrors on the wall and the chairs that spin around. There’s usually a radio playing some music or the news in the background. It helps pass the time when things are slow. We don’t have a lot of staff, just enough to handle the people who walk in. Most of the folks who come here are from around Vyasarpadi. They aren't looking for anything too fancy, just a decent haircut or a shave so they look sharp for work. We keep the place as clean as we can, but with the road right outside, the dust always finds a way in. We spend our evenings sweeping up the hair and getting things ready for the next day. It’s the kind of place where you can just sit down and not have to worry about anything corporate. We just do the job we know how to do. The sun sets over B B Road and we close up the shutters and head home. It’s been our routine for a long time now, and we don't expect it to change much.
