You can find Ascon Event Solutions in the basement of the Cison Complex. The address is G 10, No 150 Montieth Road in Egmore. Being in a basement means it’s always a bit cooler than it is outside on the street. Egmore is a very busy part of Chennai, so there is always a lot of traffic and noise outside. Down here, it’s a bit quieter. The office is a bit of a squeeze. We have desks tucked into corners and boxes of equipment stacked along the walls. It’s not a polished corporate environment. We have some old posters and a calendar that’s usually a month behind. We mostly handle the practical side of organizing things for events. It involves a lot of talking to people and making sure things arrive on time. We don't have a big philosophy or a grand vision. We just take the orders and do our best to make them happen. Sometimes things go wrong, like a delivery being late because of the Egmore traffic, and we just have to deal with it. We aren't fancy people. We wear regular clothes and drink too much tea. The Cison Complex is an old building, and it has its quirks, like the elevator that sometimes has a mind of its own. But we like it here. It’s central and everyone knows where Montieth Road is. We just keep working and try to stay out of the heat.
