Anusha Beauty Parlour

We are located on P.V. Iyer Street, which is right in the Seven Wells part of Chennai. Being at number 32, it’s a spot many of the local ladies know well by now. Anusha Beauty Parlour is a small setup, nothing too grand, but it gets the work done. The street can be quite narrow and busy, typical of this part of town. Every day is a bit different depending on who walks through the door. Some days it’s just threading and quick fixes, while other days someone wants something more involved. We spend a lot of time managing the space and making sure the towels are clean and the supplies are stocked up. Chennai heat is something else, so we try to keep the shop as comfortable as we can for whoever is waiting their turn. It’s mostly just us working here, keeping an eye on the door and chatting with neighbors who pass by. The Seven Wells area has a lot of history and energy, and being part of the daily life here feels right. We don’t use any big advertisements or anything like that. Most people find us because they live nearby or their friend told them about the place. It’s a practical little shop where we just focus on the task at hand. There’s always some tea being shared and a bit of gossip while the work happens.
