You can find us over at No H 28 in Pushpa Nagar, which is tucked away in Nungambakkam. We are quite close to Valluvar Kottam, so that is the easiest way to tell people where to find us. Nungambakkam is always bustling with traffic and people going to the big shops, but our little corner feels a bit more tucked away. Our space is usually filled with all sorts of things we use for our work. It can get a bit cluttered with fabrics, frames, and tools leaning against the walls. We don’t really have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It is more of a workshop where we get our hands dirty. The floor is concrete and there are always bits of string or tape lying around that we need to sweep up. Most mornings start with a quick check of what needs to go out that day. We have a small desk tucked in the back where we handle the phone calls and the paperwork. It’s often hot in the afternoons, so we keep the door open to catch whatever breeze comes through the lane. Our neighbors are mostly families, so you hear the sounds of cooking and TV sets through the walls. We’ve been here at Annai Decorations for a good while, just doing our thing and keeping out of the way. It’s a humble place, but it serves us well for what we need to do.
