If you find yourself on 8th Main Road in Vijaya Nagar, look for New No 2. That’s where we are. Amblin Media Private Limited is a small outfit based right here in Velachery. It’s a busy neighborhood, and we fit right in. Our office isn’t anything you’d see in a magazine. It’s got some mismatched chairs and a bookshelf that’s a bit wobbly, but it’s home to us. We do media work, which sounds more exciting than it usually is. Most of the time, it’s just us sitting at computers, making sure things look right. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a coffee bar. We just have a kettle and some packets of tea in the back. The team here is small, and we’ve all known each other for a bit. We don’t do big presentations or use corporate talk. We just speak plainly about what needs doing. Velachery can be a bit of a maze with all the turns, but once you find our street, it’s pretty quiet. We like it that way. It lets us get our heads down and work. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in Chennai. We’re just happy to be here, doing our thing and keeping the lights on. It’s a practical way to run a business, and it suits us just fine. People know us as the quiet media shop on the corner, and we’re okay with that.
