Alternate Views Event Management

We are based at 3, Sirnivasa Avenue in Agithiyar Nagar. That’s in the Villivakam area of Chennai. Alternate Views Event Management started out small, and honestly, we’re still not a giant company. We like it that way because we can actually keep track of everything. The office is just a part of the house we converted. It’s a quiet street usually, except for the occasional delivery truck. We spend most of our time planning events, making lists, and calling vendors. It can be a bit chaotic during the wedding season, but we manage. We don’t use a lot of slick talk or promises we can't keep. If a setup is going to take four hours, we tell you it will take four hours. We’ve learned that being straightforward saves everyone a lot of headaches. Villivakam is a good place to be, it feels more like a real neighborhood than the commercial hubs. You can hear the birds in the morning before the traffic starts. Our team is just a handful of people who have been doing this for years. We know which decorators are reliable and which ones aren't. We don’t have a big corporate structure. If you have a question, you just ask whoever is standing there. It’s a practical, no-nonsense way of working. We just want the events to go smoothly so we can go home and get some sleep. It is what it is.
