Allison Exports

Allison Exports is based over at 219 Kaveri Street. We are in the Thiruvalluvar Nagar neighborhood. It is a relatively quiet street compared to the main roads, which makes it easier for us to load things up. Our building isn't anything special to look at from the outside. It is just a plain structure where we handle all our export stuff. We have boxes stacked up everywhere inside. Sometimes it’s hard to walk through the main room without bumping into something. We spend a lot of time checking labels and making sure things are packed tight. It is mostly a lot of repetitive work, but it has to be done. We don't have a fancy lobby or a place for people to sit and wait. Usually, if someone comes by, they just stand in the doorway while we talk. We use a lot of tape and cardboard every single day. My hands always feel a bit rough from handling the boxes. We are just a small team trying to keep up with the schedule. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time turning around on Kaveri Street because it's a bit narrow. We just help them guide their way in. It’s a bit of a hassle but we make it work. We aren't doing anything world-changing, just getting things sent out to where they need to go. We keep the doors open as long as there is work left to do.
