Alaapana Light Music Orchestra

We are located in Green Fields Apartments, specifically No 195/10 on Mugappair Road. It’s right next to Cherians Frontier Life Line Hospital, so it’s pretty easy to find if you know Anna Nagar West. We’ve been practicing and putting together music here for quite some time. The apartment is usually filled with the sound of different instruments. Sometimes it gets a bit loud, but the neighbors are mostly patient with us. It’s not a massive studio, just a space where the orchestra gathers to get things sorted. We spend a lot of hours tuning up and trying to get the melodies right. The area around Anna Nagar West Extn has changed a lot since we started, but we’re still here in the same spot. It’s a bit of a walk from the main gate, but not too bad. We have our gear set up in the main room. It’s mostly just us talking about songs and checking the equipment. We don’t have a big reception desk or a secretary. Usually, one of us just answers the door if we aren't mid-rehearsal. Life gets busy with all the different events we have to prepare for, but we enjoy the process of making music together. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know how to do.
