You can find us at Plot No.27, F-2, on Vellala Street in Mugappair West. Akashsruti Spicecart Private Limited is a small operation, and we like it that way. We work out of this F-2 unit, which is basically just a few rooms where we manage everything related to our spice business. Vellala Street is a typical Chennai street—a bit narrow, sometimes crowded, but always full of life. We don't have a big fancy office with a receptionist. Usually, if you come by, you’ll just see one of us at a desk or maybe someone packing up an order in the back. We spend a lot of time looking at different spices and making sure the quality is what it needs to be. It’s a lot of manual checking and double-checking, which can be tedious, but it’s important. The building is pretty plain, just a regular residential-style plot that we’ve converted for our needs. We have a few computers and a lot of shelves. It’s not very exciting to look at, but it’s where all the hard work happens. We try to keep things simple and avoid all the corporate jargon that usually comes with these things. We’re just local people who know our spices and want to provide something decent to our customers. Mugappair West is a good area for us, and we’ve settled in quite nicely over the years.
