Control Monitoring Systems

Control Monitoring Systems is located over at 10 New 17/D in Teachers Colony, Adyar. It is a fairly quiet neighborhood compared to the rest of the city, which is nice for getting work done. Our office is on a street with a lot of trees, so it stays a bit cooler inside during the afternoons. We have a lot of wires, sensors, and computer screens set up all over the place. It looks a bit like a workshop because we are always testing something or looking at data on the monitors. There isn’t much room for visitors to sit down because every surface is covered with technical manuals or parts that need to be put together. We spend most of our time staring at the screens or fixing small components with a soldering iron. It’s mostly technical work, and we don't talk much while we are focused on a task. The coffee machine in the corner is the most used thing in the office besides the computers. Sometimes we step out onto the balcony to get some air and watch the cars go by on the street below. We don't have a big staff, just a few people who know how the systems are supposed to run. It is a steady routine of checking logs and making sure the monitoring equipment is doing what it should. We usually wrap up when the street lights come on and the neighborhood gets even quieter.
