Our place, Achamillai Gopi In Gopi Melodies, is right there on Baroda Street. If you know the Doraiswamy Road subway, we aren't hard to find at all. We spend most of our days here at No 51. It’s a busy little spot in West Mambalam. Sometimes the traffic gets a bit much, especially near the subway entrance, but we’re used to it by now. People usually just drop by when they are in the area. The street has its own rhythm. We don't have a big fancy sign or anything, just the name on the door. It feels like a proper neighborhood spot. We’ve seen the shops around us change over the years, but we’re still here doing our thing with the music and melodies. It gets quite loud outside with the horns and people rushing to catch their trains, but inside it’s just us working. We don’t really do much advertising or anything like that. Most folks just know us because we’ve been at this address for a while. If you’re walking down from the subway side, just look for No 51. It’s just a regular building, nothing too special to look at from the outside. We mostly just focus on the work we have for the day. It’s a simple setup we’ve got going here in West Mambalam, and that’s how we like it. No fuss, just the melodies.
