Aadland Associate Exhibits Pvt Ltd is based over at No 41 in Dr Raghavan Colony. We are right in the Vadapalani area, which is always busy with all the movie studios and shops around. Our place is more of a workshop than a proper office. We spend most of our time building stalls and displays for exhibitions. There is always the smell of sawdust or fresh paint in the air. It’s a messy job, but we enjoy it. The team is made up of guys who know how to handle tools and build things from scratch. We have been in Vadapalani for several years now. The colony is a bit tight, so parking our trucks can be a real challenge sometimes. We often work late into the night when there is a big exhibition coming up. It is physical work, moving heavy panels and setting up lights. We don't have a fancy showroom to show off our work; most of it is done on-site at the venues. We just use the office for the basic planning and keeping the books. Sometimes the drawings we get are a bit confusing, so we have to sit down and figure them out over some tea. It is not a glamorous life, but we take pride in seeing a finished stall look good on the floor. We just keep our heads down and do the work that comes our way every day.
