Propshort Realty (Opc) Private Limited is located over in Sithalapakkam. We are in the Jubilee flats complex at F-11. The address is on the Ottiambakkam main road. There are about 122 flats in this place. It is a bit far from the middle of Chennai but the area is growing very fast. You see a lot of construction trucks on the road which makes things quite dusty. Since we are an OPC it is a small operation. It is just a couple of us in a residential flat. It feels more like a home than a big corporate office. You can hear kids playing in the common areas and neighbors talking. We like it that way. We handle our real estate work from our desks here. Sometimes we have to head out to look at plots nearby. Sithalapakkam used to be very quiet and empty but now there are shops and houses everywhere. The commute into the city takes a long time so we mostly stick to this side of town. The office is very simple with a few computers and some folders. We do not have a big fancy sign outside the building. You just have to find the right block in the Jubilee flats. We have seen the whole neighborhood change over the last few years. It gets really humid in the afternoons. We usually keep the windows open. It is a straightforward place to work.
