We operate out of Kamarajar Street, right here in the Kanchipuram head office area. It’s a busy part of the town with lots of people moving around. Most of our day is spent dealing with land and small houses in the surrounding neighborhoods. We know the local layout like the back of our hands because we live here too. People come to us when they want to buy a bit of land for a house or maybe some commercial space near the main road. It isn't always easy dealing with the legal papers and the registry office, but we spend a lot of time waiting in those lines. We don't have a big corporate office, just a simple room where we keep our maps and records. Sometimes the rain makes it hard to get out to the fields, but we try to go whenever a client asks. We've seen this town change quite a bit over the years. New buildings go up where there used to be nothing. We just try to keep up with who is selling and what the prices are doing this month. It’s a lot of chatting with the locals and drinking coffee while we discuss square footage. We aren't trying to impress anyone, just helping folks get their properties sorted out. It's a living and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday.
