Our company is Projexel Engineering And Constructionindia Private Limited and you can find us at Plot No 13 in Velayudham Nagar. We are out in Thirumudivakkam, which is an area that has grown a lot lately. It’s an industrial kind of place, so there is always a lot of noise from trucks and machinery nearby. We’ve been operating from this plot for some time now. Our day usually starts early, checking on engineering drawings or sorting out which supplies need to go to which site. It isn't a glamorous job by any means. There is a lot of heavy lifting and a lot of phone calls to suppliers who are running late. We have a small team here and we mostly just focus on getting the work finished properly. We don't have a big marketing team or a fancy website that looks perfect. We just have our desks and our equipment. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to sit and wait, but that’s just part of working here. We eat our lunch together in the back and talk about things other than construction when we can. It’s a simple life. We like the engineering side of things because it makes us think, even when the practical side of building gets a bit stressful. If you come by the plot, you’ll see we’re usually pretty busy.
