We are based over at Plot No. 18 on First Avenue in the Pallava Garden area of Old Pallavaram. Prajha Buildings Private Limited has been operating from this corner of Chennai for a while now. The office is usually a bit of a mess with blueprints and site reports scattered across the desks. It’s not a fancy place, just a workspace where we figure out the logistics for our building projects. We spend a lot of time out in the heat at the actual sites, so the office is mostly for the paperwork part of the job. Getting around Pallavaram can be a bit slow with the traffic, but we are used to the pace here. Our team is small and we mostly just focus on the daily tasks like checking material costs or talking to the masons. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. If you stop by, you’ll probably find someone on the phone or looking over a drawing. It’s a practical business. We deal with the usual headaches of construction, from weather delays to late deliveries, and just try to keep things moving. The neighborhood has changed quite a bit since we started, with more buildings going up every year. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. It’s a simple setup, and that seems to work best for us while we manage our various projects across the city.
