MENUVA CONSTRUCTIONS PRIVATE LIMITED is over here at Plot No. 9/A in DRB Nagar. Most of our days are spent out on the roads near Nanmangalam and Old Pallavaram Road. It gets pretty busy around here, especially with the trucks coming through Asthinapuram Road. We’ve been set up in this spot for a while now. The office isn't anything fancy, just a place where we keep our files and meet up before heading out to a site. Construction is a messy job, so there’s usually some dust on the floor and a lot of empty tea cups sitting around. Our team is mostly guys from around the neighborhood. We know the shortcuts to avoid the traffic during the morning rush. Sometimes the weather doesn't help us out, especially when it pours and we have to cover everything up quickly. We just try to get the work done as it comes. It's a lot of coordination between the cement guys and the electricians. We spend a lot of time on our phones making sure deliveries show up at the right plot. It’s hard work and the sun can be brutal in this part of town, but we keep at it. Most of our tools stay in the back of the trucks. If you walk by D. No. 7/42, you’ll probably see us loading or unloading something. It’s just how we run things here every day and we don't mind the noise.
