You can find us at No 150 Mettu Street in Thirukazhukunram. We have been here in the Kancheepuram area for a long time, and most people around the neighborhood know the building. Construction is what we do, day in and day out. It is not an easy life, especially with the weather we get here, but we are used to it. We don’t use any of those big corporate words to describe ourselves. We are just a local crew that knows how to build things out of stone and mortar. Our office on Mettu Street is pretty simple. It is mostly filled with rolls of plans, some samples of tiles, and a lot of old ledgers. We do all sorts of building jobs, from small houses to larger structural work. Sometimes things go exactly as planned, and other times we run into rocks under the soil or the rain stops us for a week. We just handle it as it comes. We aren't interested in being flashy or making big promises. We just want to finish the job and move on to the next one so we can keep the guys working. Being part of the Kancheepuram community means a lot to us, and we try to be fair with everyone we deal with. Most of our workers live just a few streets away, so it really is a local operation. We just keep our heads down and stay busy with the work at hand.
