Our place is located at No 5 Annal Ambedkar Street, right in Mamallapuram. It’s a busy little spot for ANNAI CIVIL CONTRACTS AND SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED. We mostly deal with civil work and different kinds of services that people around here need. Being in Mamallapuram, there is always something going on with buildings or repairs. We’ve been at this for some time now, and we’ve seen the streets change quite a bit. The office isn't anything special to look at. It is just a practical space where we handle the billing and the scheduling for the crew. We spend most of our time out on the actual job sites rather than sitting behind a desk. It’s physical work and it can be tiring when the sun is beating down on the site. We don’t really have a big marketing team or anything like that. Most people find out about us because they saw one of our trucks or heard from a neighbor. We just take the jobs as they come in and try to stay on schedule. Sometimes materials show up late or the weather doesn't cooperate. That's just part of the construction life. We try to be straight with people about how long things will take. It’s a small operation but we keep ourselves busy. Ambedkar Street is a good location for us to get around from. We're just regular people doing a job. We try to get things done.
